About Our Company

Kits Elite Driving School Ltd. brings a driving instructor's expertise to provide in-car driving lessons to learners, novice, immigrants, foreigners, and class 5 drivers. As driving is based on "Observation, Decision, and Act," we teach how to build and maintain superior driving habits through patience, caution, and proper practice. All lessons are conducted in our fully equipped vehicles with full dual controls.

Our Mission

Driving is enjoyable and life is beautiful; we want to keep both safe and enjoyable. Our goal is to reduce collisions in beautiful British Columbia and make it safe for driving, and explore how beautiful the province is by improving the knowledge, skills, and quality of driving of its citizens.

Our Instructor

Our founder and president, Sheldon, became a driving instructor in 2015. He has trained hundreds of drivers in Great Vancouver to a standard of quality and safety above what’s required to merely pass a government road test.

Our Policies

1. Fees $65 Per hour / $95 Per one & half hours. (GST Included)

  •  Length of Session: Each driving lesson/session is 60 Min. including 10 Min. of discussion or 90 Min. including 15 Min. of discussion, of driving practice.

    • ​Downtown Vancouver & North Vancouver $10 extra charge per hour.

    • Pick up & Drop off (within 8km) of ICBC offices $10 extra charge per hour.

  • Late Show/ No Show: If you are within 15 minutes late, you will receive the balance of your scheduled lesson and charged for the full lesson. If the instructor arrives at the student’s scheduled location and the student does not show up, the lesson is forfeited, and there will be no reschedule or refund of the lesson fees.

  • Road Test Day Duration: There is NO PICK UP/DROP OFF on Road Test day. Each road test session is 90 minutes long, including a 30-minute warm-up and practice, a 15-minute check-in ahead, and a 30- to 45-minute road test. The Individual road test fee ($150) which is CAR ONLY has to be paid on the booking with the school before the road test date, and at least the student should have one individual driving lesson session prior of the road test. THERE IS NO REFUND IF THE STUDENT DOES NOT SHOW UP or FOR ANY REASON COULD NOT TAKE THE TEST on THE ROAD TEST DAY.

  • Cancelations Policy: If you wish to cancel a driving lesson, please contact us by phone call, text/voice message, or Email, at least 48 hours before your scheduled lesson. If student fail to give notice less than 48hrs. student will be charged the full value of the lesson.

  • Payment & Refund Policy:

    • ​Full Payments required at the time of booking for all appointments (NO EXCEPTION).
    • There will be NO REFUND for Driving Lessons or Road Test sessions that have been scheduled and taken place (less han 48hrs).
    • There will be NO REFUND on any PACKAGES once the package are paid and training started. (NO EXCEPTION)
    • EACH PACKAGE WILL REMAIN VALID UP TO SIX MONTHS (Students are expected to complete their packages with-in six months from the day of start purchased package).
    • No refund or Lessons will be given for incomplete commence packages after six months (incl. Road
      Test packages).      ​
    • All prices are GST INCLUDED.​

2. Students must provide a valid BC driving license or Driver’s License, before the first session. Students must carry their license at all times during training.


3. We offer individual one-on-one Training Only in the vehicle during the student lesson time.(No Exc.)


4. Booking a road test appointment should be done with the student, but if you wish the Driving School to do it for you, there is a non-refundable $40+GST fee that will be charged for each time. If you wish to use a school car for the road test, and re-booking the road test, students need to check and inform the school’s availability first. (NOT LESS THAN FOUR DAYS NOTICE)


5. The school may cancel your scheduled appointment for any unforeseen/emergency circumstances. For example, instructor being sick, car breaking down or poor road /weather conditions. Students will be notified as soon as possible. The lesson will be rescheduled.


6. Safety behind the wheel: Kits Elite Driving School and Instructors reserve the right to stop the lesson at anytime due to the student’s reckless and/or careless driving or unsafe conditions. Driving instructors may take control of the car at any point during the lesson if they feel that the student driver is unable to complete the lesson safely. If the lesson has to be discontinued for any of these reasons, the remainder of the lesson will be forfeited.


7. Student’s Physical and Mental Condition: It is the responsibility of the client on behalf of students to notify the driving school if there are any physical, mental, or behavioural and other conditions or any medications that can affect the student’s ability to drive safely (The Student, must at all times, act in a mature, respectful, and appropriate manner during the lessons).


8. Cognitive Awareness: The student agrees that he/she will not be under the influence of alcohol, illegal substances, or any other intoxicant or legal drugs that might induce sleepiness, nervousness, or other conditions that could adversely affect his/her ability to drive the car or understand (The school can cancel your lesson with NO Refunds, if the student is suspected).
